• Presentation and Q&A with DECD Commissioner Michael Duguay and the Director of the Office of Business Development, Jim Nimon. Topics will include DECD’s roadmap for 2026, the implementation of Maine’s 10-year Economic Development Strategy, information on the Opportunity Zone 2.0 program and Dirigo Incentives, and updates on a host of other agency programming.

• Presentation and Q&A with staff from the Maine Connectivity Authority. MCA, the state’s broadband agency, will provide a deep look into the state of internet connectivity throughout Maine. The presentation will focus on the impact of public and private investments to establish connectivity to over 135,000 businesses and homes in Maine and what new connectivity infrastructure means for economic and community development statewide. 

• Learn about the upcoming EDCM Strategic Plan and participate in the strategic planning process via a facilitated discussion and workshop.
